Masherbrum, rising to 7,821 metres, is one of the most impressive and demanding mountains of the Karakoram. Also known as K1, it was the first Karakoram peak to receive a survey number and stands dramatically above the Hushe Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Our Masherbrum Expedition takes experienced mountaineers deep into the remote Hushe Valley and towards the mountain’s classic Southeast Face and ridge system. The expedition combines glacier travel, steep snow and ice, technical climbing, high-altitude camps, acclimatisation rotations and a demanding summit attempt.
